An open weave stiff cotton spine lining and construction material that takes adhesives well.
Used for reinforcement of the signatures / sections in the spine of case bindings. The mull sits on the spine of the book block and extends approximately 25mm beyond the edges on both sides. It sits underneath the endpapers to front and back adding strength to the joints and spine.
